Zappos.com is proud to offer the Dansko Carter (White Box) - Men's: Your heel should lift up and down with every step, so if you are a whole-size you may be more comfortable sizing up (for example if you are a US size 10, you may be more comfortable in an EU size 44). Closed-back style with dual elastic gussets and padded instep. Water resistant leather uppers are durable and easy to maintain. Box leather is ideal for the workplace environments with wet, acidic or greasy conditions. It has a smooth, clean finish with the natural irregularities removed. It is the easiest leather to maintain, and can be wiped clean with soap and water. Nonallergenic, vegatable tanned leather socklining absorbs perspiration. Flexible and non-breakable Polypropylene shank reduces torque and offers lateral support and stability. High density polyurethane footbed provides anatomical contouring. Direct-injection polyurethane midsole provides cushioning, rebound and support. Nitril rubber @work outsole has excellent anti-skid, abrasion-resistance and flexion values. The anti-skid tread pattern provides maximum slip resistance under dry and wet conditions. The outsole is also resistant to grease, acids and ammonia, making this collection essential for occupational use. Dansko @work outsoles are slip resistant to the standard required by the European Personal Protective Equipment Directive covering occupational footwear. Slip resistance tests have been conducted by SATRA, the world's leading research and technology organization for the consumer goods industry. Dansko's @work Collection proudly carries the Seal of Acceptance from the American Podiatric Medical Association.
